Joseph
R. Loring & Associates, Inc. performed a value engineering study and
critique of the mechanical, plumbing and fire
protection design for the following
facilities:
Coney Island
Hospital
- a 200,000 sf expansion of
the hospital to house medical/surgical rooms
and nursing support areas and renovation of
the main building to house a new ambulatory
care department.
Bellevue
Hospital Center -
a new 200,000 sf Ambulatory Care
Building which will house all of the hospitals
outpatient programs, renovation of approximately
150,000 sf of existing medical/surgical,
Critical Care and Step Down Units and upgrade
of the existing mechanical systems.
Jacobi
Medical Center
-
a new 400,000 sf, 330-bed expansion of the
hospital which included operating rooms,
central sterile, imaging department, isolation
rooms, burn unit, several floors of med./surg.
rooms, pediatric and PICU departments, emergency department and administrative
support areas.
