LORING provided complete mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design services for the addition and renovation of an existing Barn that houses the facility’s central plant that LORING designed in Phase 1 - the project area is approximately 10,000 sf. The Arts Barn contains classrooms and a multi-functional Movement Studio.

The first phase included a 14,000 sf primary (K-6) school building that achieved LEED Gold Certification. LORING also provided master planning services for the campus with an ultimate build-out of approximately 90,000 sf.

The Arts Barn project has been awarded LEED Platinum level certification. Sustainable design features implemented included: photovoltaics system, grey water system, hybrid ventilation, heat recovery, displacement ventilation and daylight harvesting.
