Jersey City Public Safety Communications
Center
Jersey City, NJ

LORING provided
HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection
systems and telecom design for a new two-story, approximately 26,000
sf building to be used as a combined Police/Fire Department
Communications Center.
In order to provide the most comprehensive emergency response
system for its citizens, Jersey City made a decision to house all
911 and emergency response services within a common facility, and
the Jersey City Public Safety Communications Center was
created.
The functions housed within include a 911 Call Center, Emergency
Command/Operations Center, related Offices, Locker Rooms, an
Emergency Power Generator and on-site parking.
