DCAS, One Centre Street - Electrical Upgrades

Joseph R. Loring & Associates, Inc. was the prime consultant for a complete electrical upgrade of the 1,000,000 sf municipal building. The work included the phased removal and replacement of four Con Edison service switchboards, the addition of a new Con Edison service and complete replacement of distribution switchboards, distribution panel and branch circuit panelboards while the building remained fully occupied. The project also included the design of a 1000KW diesel emergency generator and associated transfer switches and distribution equipment.
