United States Supreme Court Building

LORING provided a comprehensive master plan and prepared complete contract documents for the replacement and modernization of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems for this 400,00 SF landmark building. All major systems will be replaced in a phased manner while the building remains occupied by the nine U.S. Supreme Court Justices and their staff. The master plan presented alternative methods for systems replacement and provided a comparative analysis of the performance characteristics, physical size limitations, first cost, and operating cost as well as the impact on building structure, architecture, and operations for each option presented.  The Architect is The Hillier Group.
