Oleksa Breslawec has over 35 years of experience in engineering design, building system controls, new technology integration, and building commissioning. Since joining Loring in 2016, he has been responsible for administering the design of projects from conception through construction completion while mentoring and coaching junior team members. Oleksa has overseen the design of millions of square feet of space for both the renovation and new construction of higher education facilities, in addition to institutional and commercial buildings.
Oleksa is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is licensed in over 20 states including the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. His professional activities include the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers (APPA), and the International District Energy Association (IDEA).
