Loring is hiring entry-level Mechanical and Electrical Designers for our office in Kingston, Jamaica, W.I. beginning July 2026.
Current 2026 Electrical & Mechanical Engineering graduates strongly encouraged to apply.
• Work closely with project teams to produce models and high-quality graphic presentations.
• Assist with design and construction documents for companywide projects.
• Utilize CAD and Revit software to model and draw MEP documents suitable for distribution to clients.
• Assemble documentation packages and produce drawing sets which are then reviewed by a senior staff member/engineer.
• Bachelor’s Degree, in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Understanding of the construction industry specific to electrical building systems.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate thoughts and technical ideas in an accessible way, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong Analytical and quantitative skills, and a demonstrated capability for analysis, problem solving and strategic thinking.
• Strong initiative—the willingness and ability to succeed in a collaborative, team-based environment.
• Ability to manage time appropriately and multi-task with multiple projects in order to meet deadlines.
