Introducing New Loring Vice President Oleksa Breslawec

Loring Consulting Engineers is delighted to announce that Oleksa Breslawec, PE, has joined the leadership of our growing Washington, DC office. A Mechanical Engineer with more than 28 years of experience, Oleksa’s background augments the firm’s depth and expertise in higher education, institutional facilities, utility infrastructure, and commercial sectors.

His portfolio includes project management of millions of square feet of ground-up construction, renovations, commissioning, and energy infrastructure and improvement projects for numerous public and private institutions throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

As a Loring Vice President, Oleksa will bring his talent to bear on a range of projects in the mid-Atlantic market and beyond. He is currently overseeing renovation and commissioning projects at several DC universities as well as engineering design for a new 325,000-square foot dual-branded hotel and residential tower development by Hilton Worldwide in Arlington, VA. He is also lending his infrastructure expertise to the Wyoming State Capitol Complex central plant modifications as part of a large rehabilitation project.

Prior to joining Loring, Oleksa held senior positions at prominent national engineering firms and was co-founder of the Minnesota-based MEP firm Sebesta Blomberg & Associates, where he served as Vice President for 15 years.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology (now the College of Science and Engineering), Oleksa is a professional Mechanical Engineer registered in 24 states. He is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and continues to be involved with the Association of Higher Education Facilities Officers (APPA) and the International District Energy Association (IDEA).
