Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection engineering design services for a nine (9) story, 168 guestroom hotel located on M Street in Washington, DC. The new Hyatt Place is approximately 153,100 GSF, and includes two (2) parking levels below grade, a pool, a fitness area, cyber bar, lounge, café, kitchen, dining, and an accessible roof terrace on the top floor. The MEP design includes a water-source heat pump system with waterside economizer and dedicated outdoor air with heat recovery. In addition to Loring’s participation as the MEP and Fire Protection design engineer of record, Loring also provided additional support services on the project, including the following:
