North Carolina A&T State University Community & Urban Food Processing Facility

Located on North Carolina A&T State University’s 492 acre farm, this new nearly 15,000 sf research and business incubator facility will draw in the local community and farmers, as well as serve as a teaching facility for students in the technical and agricultural programs. Loring provided engineering design drawings for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low voltage (AV/IT/Security) systems for all space types. The new building consists of a BSL2 lab, sensory lab for conducting consumer research, commercial kitchen, food processing lab, creamery, office and public spaces.
